December Polymer Clay POM club project is ready!

I should really do double projects in January because honestly I forget just how busy November and December are not to mention how fast the time just flies by. Which is exactly what happened this month.
But regardless of all that...the december project is ready and is by popular request. When I sent out a call on the ArtBuzz blog, several came back and said they wanted a snowy moose...which is right up my alley since I love rustic..moosy....lodgy decor. It just makes you feel so warm and cozy. In the chill of a Missouri winter....that is a great thing on a frigid cold day like today.
This is the LAST project of 2009. So if you joined in January, please re-new your subscription.
I will send out friendly reminders as well. Other subscriptions will continue until the month you joined.
To simplify things, I am only continuing the Polymer Clay Whimsical character POM club. I feel there is a real audience out there and very few of the polymer clay artists cater to your needs.
For your convienence you can click the Buy Now button below to renew or join for 2010!

Just a little update...

As you've probably realized, Im running way behind this month...as Im sure so many of you are as well...so much to do, yet so little time.

My goal is to get the POMS up and running by the weekend. Originally I wanted to have them done today.....but life happened and my camera is acting up...so just a few little glitches to deal with.

Because I haven't done the POM's yet....this IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY FOR REQUESTS!! I do have in mind a project...but Im more than willing to adjust that to what you want to see. That goes for next month too, as I'll be recovering from surgery so my goal is to get this months and next months projects done by the end of this month! WHEW!!

So....thanks for understanding and thanks for your suggestions in advance!!! Happy Claying!

New Winter Characters make great gifts!!!

*** UPDATED **** 11/24/09 - hurry just a couple more left!

Boy did I pump out the characters yesterday....I was on a ROLL!!! I just love the process - especially when I get to the face...it's like they come to life.

So...if you find one of these that you just can't live without - just click on the add to cart button and you'll be good to go. If you live in the USA I'll ship for free...international orders please email for shipping costs that rage from $6 and up....

I'll keep this updated as the characters find new homes....and then I'll put them up on Etsy..

Polar bear and Penguin Hugs. Seated on a glass ice cube About 2" tall

(c) 2009 Linda Peterson Designs

SOLD $22 (postage paid in US)
This little gingerbread character is riding on a "pull toy". It measures about an inch high...and connects with the reindeer and penguin if you want to put them together to form a little train.

(c) 2009 Linda Peterson Designs

SOLD $13 (postage paid in US)

Here's the matching reindeer...About 1"

(c) 2009 Linda Peterson Designs
$13 (postage paid in US) SOLD

And then the happy little penguin....kinda reminds me of "happy feet" (about 1")

(c) 2009 Linda Peterson Designs

SOLD $13 (postage paid)

This is one of my favorites. I love things in wagons or on sleds...this little scene is placed in a miniature 1" wagon. The snowman is about an 1" tall.

SOLD $23 (Postage paid in US)

Besides snowmen....I think Gingerbread are my favorites to make....I think of gingerbread cookies baking in the oven while Im working....(okay..now im hungry)

(c) 2009 Linda Peterson Designs
SOLD $20 (postage paid in US)

This is a larger piece...its about 4" wide and about 3" high. It's been in my private collection as one of my favorite pieces, but now I have so many!

Photobucket

I make all these characters by hand without using molds. There's lots of hidden detail in these pieces and they are all one-of-a-kind.
