Spring is in the Air - Time for garden crafts

I walked outside today, and although the day was a little gloomy, I did notice some tiny little crocus flowers popping up out of the ground. The daffodils are starting to display their yellow beauty and that tells me one thing......SPRING IS HERE! Well, I hope anyways.

I'm so tired of being cooped up in the house. Aren't you too? This is the time of year that I get really motivated - for a couple of months and I garden and clean things up in the yard. Every year I say Im going to have pretty gardens and I do....for about a month until I realize again....that I am no green thumb.

I wanted to share this photo with you. It not only celebrates spring but it also celebrates National Crafts Month and my contest on repurposing. Here Cheryl has repurposed old dishes (maybe some with sentimental value) and used them to edge her beautiful garden. Isn't that a great idea? Her house is so warm and inviting - just like her. It makes you want to visit for the afternoon and chat over tea.
Do you have an idea for "making something else....out of something??" Send it to me. As you can see, it can be anything, either that you have under construction now...or you've done a while back. Share your ideas!

Very nice repurposing of objects. I especially like the white painted bike (trike) in the background too. This is double duty on the reusing objects. How inviting to walk up to this house. I love it!
